Ashley Pavlakos, Regional Public Health Nurse

Ashley serves as NEPHA's Regional Public Health Nurse, providing individualized public health nursing support to our four member communities. In her role, she assists local health departments with case management, health education, and tailored community guidance based on emerging needs.

Ashley also leads and supports regional community health programming, helping to design and implement initiatives that promote prevention, wellbeing, and equitable access to services across the region. She regularly hosts public health clinics, screenings, and health promotion events, ensuring residents have accessible, high-quality care close to home.

With her collaborative approach and commitment to strengthening local public health capacity, Ashley plays a key role in advancing the coalition's shared goals and supporting healthier communities throughout the region.

Bethany Slack, Regional Public Health Specialist

Bethany serves as the Regional Public Health Specialist for the coalition, supporting towns to strengthen local public health coordination. She assists municipal health departments by providing program support, outreach, and referral pathways to ensure community members receive the guidance and services they need.

Bethany contributes to community health efforts across the region by identifying priority needs, supporting health communication efforts, and expanding access to information and preventive resources. A key part of her role includes creating clear pathways to community resources, connecting residents with public health services, social supports, and community organizations.

Working collaboratively with regional staff, municipal leaders, and community partners, Bethany helps reinforce shared capacity and advance the coalition’s commitment to healthier, more connected communities.
